Why or what is an RFI or Request for Information? It’s our effort to find out basic information regarding you. You will ask us to share detailed information about our business. Isn’t it fair and reasonable for Skedaddle to ask the same from you? We are also obligated to protect our brand, trademarks and reputation, so your disclosure of any felonies or financial problems must be revealed.
As an honourable franchise organization, we’re concerned with your success. Our management company, That Franchise Group and our six brands with over 780 franchise units have never taken legal action against a franchisee nor has a lawsuit been filed against us since our inception in 1985. That’s amazing! Why is that important to you? We make sure you’re qualified to succeed. That’s the purpose of the RFI. Answer it honestly, completely and in a timely manner. This is viewed as a serious action step by any franchise organization.
Is there a right or wrong time to complete this? Yes and no. You may proceed in your investigation up to the point of making validation calls with existing franchisees. Without a completed RFI you have stopped your due diligence.
