The Discovery Process
Our franchise investigation process is the Linear Approach – This is best suited for the truly engaged franchisee candidate. They follow the rules and colour inside of the lines. It yields the most information in the least amount of time. However, not everyone learns in the same manner. Let us know if you need some flexibility.
We are not trying to sell or convince you. We approach our customers the same way. We are educators. If this resonates with you, you’ve found a home, you’ll enjoy learning more about our brand and our unique service.
Step 1: Start a conversation with us.
In order to find out if you and Skedaddle are the right fit, start by calling our office to talk with our management team and we can both determine if there’s a match and a reason to move forward. Learn more about wildlife control, Skedaddle and our franchise opportunity.
Step 2: The Skedaddle brand overview.
This is a comprehensive 30,000-foot overview of our business history, operational & marketing. Lasts about 30 to 45 minutes with a Q & A. Listen to our Skedaddle Franchisee, Marcus, talk about his experience learning about our Skedaddle brand and training to become a franchisee.
Step 3: Complete our simple, non-invasive Request for Information (RFI)
Now that we have determined a we are a good fit to work together. This step is where we will connect with you on a detailed market evaluation. Together we determine if there’s enough potential business for success in your unique community and how your franchise can be successful in your chosen market.
Step 4: Talk to current franchisees.
Learn about Skedaddle directly from our frontlines, our franchisees. Talk with Skedaddle team members and evaluate their level of satisfaction and success. This allows you to prove to yourself that the Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control model works and makes money.
Step 5: Franchise Disclosure Document.
We send you our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and begin outlining your exclusive territory, demographics, county boundaries, postal or zip codes. We will provide an overview of our sales and marketing process.
Step 6: Face-to-face meeting.
Are you ready for a face-to-face meeting? You come to our HQ office for a Discovery Day. Come to our Skedaddle Headquarters and meet with our management team, talk with different departments and see for yourself how we operate.
Remember to embrace these principles:
- You don’t know what you don’t know
- Knowledge dispels fear
- Franchising is about systems/process
- Assumptions, when turned into questions – reveal the truth
We urge you to become an open-minded detective. Imagine a court case. You gather evidence, sort it, review it and then weigh the facts. Then the prosecution and defence attorneys battle back and forth. This goes on inside your head. However, there’s a point where you should or will take action. Great leaders, entrepreneurs and franchisees are DECISIVE. They avoid allowing overthinking, analysis paralysis to set in. If you snowboard or mountain bike, likely you’ll understand – at some point you push ahead and go down the trail.
